I am Eric Wan. I am from China, and living in Granada, Spain now. Back in china, i learnt fingerstyle guitar, influenced by music of Japanese guitarists such as Masaki Kishibe, Isato Nakagawa and Masa Sumide,and American guitarists such as Don Ross, Andy Mckee.

 

In 2013, I came to Spain to start learning flamenco. I live in Granada, a historical city with authentic flamenco. I learnt in the flamenco school "carmen de las cuevas", and with four years of study, i gradually understand flamenco palos (styles), and the techniques. Now i'm totally in love with flamenco. My flamenco music is greatly influenced by Antonio Rey, Dani de Morón, etc.

During my times in Spain, I also started learning jazz. I learnt jazz with American guitarists Jody fisher, Peter Mazza, and British guitarist Scott McGill. Jazz is a broad, profound world, and every day I'm exploring more in this world.
